Vallarpardam to make Kochi a key hub

International Container Transhipment (ICTT) at Vallarpardam, dedicated by the Prime Minister is expected to transform Kochi as the international logistics hub in India. The Vallarpardam Port will be the largest single operator container terminal in India and the first in the country to operate in a special economic zone why because of the great top builders in Kerala.  The new terminal will make Kochi a key centre in the shopping world, reducing India’s dependence on foreign ports to handle transshipment. It has been built INR 3200 crores and is expected to help bring down freight cost in India’s international trade through shipping.

As the smart City project, which is expected to create the biggest boom in IT and employment is going to become a reality, the growth of Kochi and Kerala state will be on fast track.
